Studio On Wheels

Studio on Wheels started over 35 years ago when founder John Falzarano loaded his 2-track tape recorder, mixer, and microphones into his 1961 Ford van and set out to record local bands in his neighborhood. Since then, Studio on Wheels has evolved into a respected source for quality live audio recording, with three trucks, two based in Los Angeles and another stationed in Nashville.

All three Studio on Wheels trucks were acquired from major remote operators, including the Record Plant, and are loaded with an assortment of vintage analog equipment and a good deal of recording history. Classic analog Audotronics, API, and Amek consoles are the foundation for the three units and are complimented by a combination of analog and digital recording gear that provide each truck with its own unique sound.

Each truck can be equipped with a large assortment of microphones and all the additional equipment needed to handle any remote situation. In addition to the three remote trucks, Studio on Wheels now offers a small portable recording package that is perfect for low budget projects. This set-up can be rolled into smaller venues and will deliver the professional sound quality Studio on Wheels has been known for over the last three decades.
